PhD Saez belongs to the Laboratorio de Criminalístico Central, Seccion Microanalisis of the Policia de Investigaciones de Chile (PDI), since 2004. He received a Degree in Chemistry at the University of Concepción (1999) and their PhD in sciences chemistry at the University of Concepcion Chile, in 2005., PhD Saez has published several articles on indexed Journals in the fields of organic chemistry and forensic chemistry. He focus their research mainly in development and application of analytical chemistry tools to enhance forensic interest of the gunshot residues, explosives, accelerants of fire and other trace evidence recollected of the scene of crimen. Also has participated in more than 40 national and international congresses. Actually is also professor of forensic chemistry of the Universidad of Chile and Escuela de Iinvestigaciones Policiales of the PDI.
